I believe we all need someone to talk with, who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgement. Starting the therapy process is a sign of strength and vulnerability. Together, we will explore the origins of your patterns of thinking/behaving/relating as well as the functions that these patterns serve, assess your barriers to change, identify your strengths and resources, and practice new ways of coping in order to help you live a more satisfying life.

I take a holistic approach to counseling and focus on the importance of the roles that psychological, biological, environmental, spiritual, and social factors play in a client’s life. I subscribe to a developmental perspective and take an attachment-based approach, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the client and the counselor is ultimately the key to an effective counseling process. A therapeutic relationship that is based on attunement, empathy, and collaboration is foundational to therapeutic change. Hi, I’m Anne, and I’m here to offer you support without stigma. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly those exploring gender and sexuality later in life. I’m experienced working with academics, caregivers, parents of children with disabilities, bodyworkers, healthcare professionals, energy workers and activists experiencing burnout. Experienced working with clients impacted by addictions, anxiety, career/school transitions, depression, grief, neurodivergence, suicidality, and trauma. I'm kink-aware, sex-positive, and experienced with clients who practice ethical non-monogamy and/or polyamory.
