I began my career behind the camera, where every frame was a confession and every cut a defense. That insight pulled me from film sets into the human mind. I earned an M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Cal Lutheran University, then a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, specializing in Depth Psychology. In practice, I work psychoanalytically: slowing the film, studying the frame, listening for the lines never spoken. Transference isn’t jargon—it’s the projector casting the past onto the present. Together, we confront the shadows you’d rather cut, because only by facing them can your story move toward freedom.

My name is Kaylee Torres and I am an LMFT in WA, OR, and HI. I specialize in working with trauma and neurodivergence. I am trained in EMDR and in providing ADHD and Autism Evaluations. I bring a systemic relational lens to all my work, referencing queer and feminist theories, and working to be culturally humble with all clients. I utilize EMDR for trauma work, as well as Somatic Experiencing.
