Life transitions are hard; they may reveal unhelpful patterns or habits, put strain on relationships, and trigger past wounds. We may feel lonely, resentful, or anxious. Loss or upheaval can lead to accumulated stress, self-criticism, shame, or numbing behaviors. While these experiences are uncomfortable, together we can learn to welcome them as wise messengers, pointing us towards growth and healing. I support adults, teens (15+), parents, and couples in-person and via telehealth. I believe that while we all want to grow, our past experiences can make it feel unsafe to move forward. By cultivating self-awareness, we can tap into our inner wisdom, paving the way for more fulfilling experiences and relationships. Paying attention to the present moment helps us notice patterns from the past, giving us insight into how early relationships continue to influence us. I'm committed to offering a safe, inclusive space, where you feel truly seen and heard, helping you reconnect with your inherent worth and purpose.

I see myself as a relational therapist. Someone that is always looking into how our current and past relationships shape our lives. I enjoy working with couples and individuals. My intent is always to meet you with an open mind and a gentle heart; however, I believe that therapy is at times about accountability, too. Most importantly, I want my clients to have a place to land where, for just a small portion of their week, they feel seen and accepted for who they are and what they want to become. I especially like working with adults that may have suffered childhood trauma and help them understand the current impact it may have.

I’m here to support clients on a range of topics, including trauma, women’s issues, relationships, life transitions, grief, and anxiety. As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, I specialize in reproductive experiences, including fertility challenges, family planning, pregnancy loss, birth anxiety and preparation, birth processing, postpartum, women’s health challenges, sexual issues, body image, and chronic pain.

I am a Psychology Resident which means I graduated from my doctorate program and am now doing supervised work towards my licensure. I have experience and a deep passion for working with anxiety, depression, and life transitions—however you define them. I especially enjoy supporting undergraduate and graduate students as they navigate the pressures, uncertainties, and personal growth that often accompany academic and professional training.

My clients are going through life transitions that challenge their sense of security, identity, and confidence. They may be moving into adulthood, becoming first time parents, changing careers, or experiencing other big life changes. They are seeking a space to process their questions, confusion, beliefs, and fears.

The adolescents and teens I work with are often going through a seasonal low in their life. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, bullying, body image, or a family conflict just to name a few. Teens want to be heard and accepted that their feelings and emotions are valid.

Many people come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, or navigating the challenges of borderline personality disorder. Whether it's emotional turbulence, deep wounds of trauma, or difficulty with life transitions, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore, heal, and grow. Anxiety, depression, and nagging intrusive thoughts can cause significant disruptions at home, work, and socially, or they may even be things you manage well enough that others don't know about. We will work to lessen these burdens and improve the quality of your life.

I believe that the capacity for connection and peace is already with us all and that the therapeutic process is revealing this power when it is hidden. I view therapy as an adventure, and my role in it to be your faithful companion along the difficult parts of the path. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, and teens and adults who feel they have lost touch with their sense of self-worth and self-compassion. I offer Oregon statewide telehealth for adults seeking support with anxiety, overwhelm, relationship strain, major transitions, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or their path. Many of the people I work with are longing for clarity, steadiness, and a space where their inner world can be understood and honored. My approach is warm, relational, and attentive to the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. I also provide guidance for those exploring or reflecting on psychedelic experiences as part of their broader growth.

As an ex-evangelical queer person, I am passionate about partnering with LGBTQIA+ adults to help them live authentic and fulfilling sexual, relational, and spiritual lives through sex and couple therapy. Client issues include but are not limited to navigating non-affirming relationships, sexual concerns and "dysfunctions," and breakdowns in communication or values conflicts. I collaborate with my clients to increase self-understanding, foster agency, clarify self-defined values, build communication skills, increase emotional well-being in relationships, and explore spirituality.

Human beings are incredibly resilient, and it is my belief that through collaboration with a trained counselor, individuals can meaningfully enhance their life path by clarifying their values, goals, and obstacles. When we go through painful experiences—whether physical or emotional—our minds can sometimes respond with feelings of guilt, shame, self-criticism, or powerlessness. In my work, I take a strengths-based, client-centered approach, drawing from solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Our purpose is to help people live free from sexual addiction, heal from trauma and experience the joy of real intimacy. It takes work to make these dreams happen. It takes having a plan. That is what we provide. A proven plan and way out. We work with addicts and their spouses to get sober and heal from this disease. Whether it's pornography or other forms of infidelity we can help. My wife and I also see typical couples not experiencing addiction to help them with marriage issues and conflict or other communication issues. We are being certified under RLT (Terry Real) with a focus in marriage coaching.

I work with children of all ages who have experienced trauma that can often carry emotional and psychological scars that impact their development and well-being. Healing hearts and minds after trauma is a complex journey. A holistic and trauma-informed approach to therapy for children acknowledges the multifaceted nature of trauma and provides a comprehensive framework for recovery. By focusing on safety, empowerment, healing, we can create a nurturing path toward resilience and well-being for young hearts.

I delight in supporting kids, teens, adults, and couples who have overlapping and different identities and experiences from me. I love listening to you and helping you hear your own wisdom about the challenges you’re facing. Jocelyn is currently pursuing her graduate degree in clinical counseling at Adams State University. Originally from Los Angeles, Jocelyn made her way to the Pacific Northwest to live a more fulfilling life and continue her journey in mental health counseling. Outside of the counseling room, spends most of her time with her dog, Nancy, who keeps her grounded and reminds her daily of the importance of connection and compassion. In her clinical work, Jocelyn draws from feminist and queer theory alongside a person-centered framework.

Having been through a lot in my teenage years into adulthood, where I learned self-confidence, I have found that if I had someone to help me work through issues of stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and many other life factors I would have been successful sooner. I have experience in diverse cultures where I have found I learn just as much from the people around me as they learn from me.
